I haven't posted anything in a while, because, well, there hasn't really been anything that I've made or anyone's birthday. Actually, I did make some more pies for someone's birthday, but since I haven't started making fancy pies, they look like anyone's pies, so I chose not to record them here. Instead, I've been doing more arts and crafts stuff and have been staying out of the kitchen, especially in the summer heat.
However, I will be making at least one birthday cake, maybe more, in the month of August and I'm excited for those. I also found a cake decorating contest that I'm interested in entering, but that is only if my fancy cake assistant returns from Spain in time to make and then enter the contest, which I hope he does.
